The Island of Gods

Bali is one of my favorite destinations to travel and it is easy to see why!

The trip to Bali is like a never ending adventure. From hippy bars to the remote Balinese spots, it can suit every soul.  The tranquil beaches captivate spiritual energy and the vast rice fields reflect the cosmic sunsets. Surfing, trekking, meditation, yoga or nightlife, there is so much to experience on this glorious island!

Kuta beach is the place if you are a new surfer or looking for mild waves. The rolling surf at this beach is free of any sharp reefs. I rented a board and signed up for surfing lessons. Alternatively you could also rent a body board if you want to try something that is a little less arduous.

My trip in Bali ended with a trek on Mount Batur that stands at 1700 meters above the sea. It is the most famous volcanoes in Bali.

The trek to the top astonishes you with a magnificent sunrise over the crater, where the mountain is surrounded by a dazzling lake. This is also one of the easiest treks compared to the other large mountains, which makes it a great choice if you have never trekked a volcano.
